Phytoplankton significantly improves water quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and excess nutrients like ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and phosphate. Phytoplankton promotes good water chemistry while consuming the nutrients undesirable and toxic algae need to grow. It also provides a nutritious food source for zooplankton, minnows and microfauna to improve your lake's productivity.
 
NATURAL METHOD TO OUTCOMPETE UNDESIRABLE & TOXIC ALGAE: Filamentous and toxic algae are problematic and unsightly in ponds and lakes.
